I think the idea of an intrapreneur is becoming more and more important, but at the same time I do wonder how many companies can embrace it.

We’re at a stage in time where it’s easier than ever to initiate intrapreneurial activities such as seeding new initiatives. Not just easier but these can be done in a very, very visible manner. But personally I’m not sure how many people within a company (especially the higher-ups) would see this as improvement as opposed to rocking the boat.

I do feel that while employers do want initiative and “can do” individuals, it tends to be “can do” as long as it’s their way.
